AFSOC has four main career fields within it: Special Reconnaissance, Pararescuemen (PJ’s), Combat Controllers (CCT’s), and Tactical Air Control Party (TACP). There’s a fifth “Career Field” that we discuss, known as the Special Operations Surgical Teams.
