GBA Team Normandy 2024 -
A Team of Grey Beret Veterans ranging in age from 83 to 40 will return to Normandy in June 2024
We will jump from WWII aircraft, wearing WWII uniforms, on to the WWII drop zones
We're doing so in honor of our WWII US Army Air Forces Weather Observer Paratroopers and Glidermen from the 21st Weather Squadron who jumped and rode gliders in to Normandy on June 6th, 1944 with the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions
These men were:
82nd Airborne Division -
S/Sgt Robert Dodson - Combat Parachute Assault
Cpl Eugene Levine - Combat Glider Assault
101st Airborne Division -
S/Sgt Charlie Staub - Combat Parachute Assault
Cpl Warren Wolf - Combat Glider Assault
